Remembering Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

confidence Jan 18, 2021

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, a revolutionary human rights leader whose courage and conviction for racial equality, truth, justice, and social change inspires us to be better, to do better. His leadership and vision created a movement and showed us that things could be different and should be different.

As we celebrate his legacy, take time today to do some self-reflection. Listen to Dr. King's speeches, read his motivational writings and letters, be inspired by his message.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” - Dr. King, Letter from a Birmingham Jail (4/16/1963).
